Before the ASEAN School Awards there was the GBA School Awards

GBA stands for Greater Bay Area a region that encompasses the two Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macao, and the nine municipalities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, and Zhaoqing in Guangdong Province.

In the inaugural awards we hosted over 130 attendees to our gala dinner celebrating more than 15 winners.

• What is GBA School Awards and who is eligible to apply?
  Any school located in the GBA region or businesses that provide services to schools within the GBA region are eligible to apply for the GBA School Awards. This includes both public and private institutions as well as non-school entities like education suppliers and experiential learning providers.

• I’m not in the GBA region, can I apply?
  The awards are open to schools that are physically located in the GBA or for businesses that operate (service schools in the GBA Countries)

• If I’m a business that operates in both the ASEAN region and ASEAN can I apply for both awards?
  Yes, you can.
